Lady Chatterley's Lover - Chapter 19

In this, the final chapter of "Lady Chatterley's Lover", Sir Clifford takes the news of Connie's leaving him with a bit of male hysteria.

Despite her wish to the contrary, Lady Chatterley travels to Wragby to meet in person with her estranged husband.

I enjoyed it. D.H. Lawrence's "Lady Chatterley" became controversial novel in his time. In most of the countries, his novel is considered as bunch of erotic stories and I completely disagree with that.

His novel has symbols,humor,Irony and more over his novels is a mirror of society. He was a responsible writer.

I like his another novel
The Lost Girl journey of a woman caught between two worlds and two lives.

Hey this chapter is really awesome and interesting........
I love the last two paragraphs of this story...........

Never mind about Sir Clifford. If you don’t hear anything from him, never mind. He can’t really do anything to you. Wait, he will want to get rid of you at last, to cast you out. And if he doesn’t, we’ll manage to keep clear of him. But he will. In the end he will want to spew you out as the abominable thing.

Now I can’t even leave off writing to you.

But a great deal of us is together, and we can but abide by it, and steer our courses to meet soon. John Thomas says good-night to Lady Jane, a little droopingly, but with a hopeful heart.
